e-Learning Program Administrator

The e-Learning Program Administrator maintains the general function, scheduling, usage, collection and day-to-day operation of RMEL’s online educational resources. The e-Learning Program Administrator will assist in the selection of the appropriate eLearning platform.  The selected candidate will ensure proper completion of scheduled offerings and will be the primary point of contact for all e-Learning technical issues.  Denver preferred but open to a remote work scenario for ideal candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Executive Director and staff to develop and analyze RMEL’s e-Learning platform, offerings and program optimization
  • Maintains e-learning content
  • Aligns e-Learning platform with RMEL administrative processes
  • Works with Educational Committee teams to design and develop e-Learning options
  • Develops storyboards and scripts for e-Learning and virtual live presentations
  • Uploads and configures e-Learning content onto RMEL’s web site
  • Integrates emerging instructional methods and technologies into e-learning opportunities
  • Creates multimedia products using a variety of software programs
  • Designs/translates educational content from classroom or conference presentation to e-Learning platform
  • Coordinates educational resources from RMEL membership
  • Attends conferences when available related to e-Learning related technologies

Position Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a focus on the confluence of computer technology and education in areas such as distance learning, instructional design or a similar computer-related field.Equivalent related experience could supplant specific degree concentration, but a degree is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in computer related field, and familiarity with AV production processes as related to an eLearning environment.
  • Must be excellent communicator, verbally and written.
  • Customer focused is essential. “Can do” attitude is essential.
  • Respond to challenges quickly, calmly and discreetly.
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed.
  • Expert knowledge of PCs, networking hardware and software, web site development, AV/IT equipment and audio mixers, HD PTZ camera operation and deployment are a plus.
  • Experience with planning meetings, conferences and workshops is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience working with committees and volunteers is a plus.
