By attending the planning session, you ensure that the education program provided at the conference addresses the issues critical to your job and your company. As part of the planning process, RMEL members are encouraged to suggest topics and speakers for the Spring Electric Energy Conference. Because this conference targets engineers, managers and operators at utilities, most presentations are technical or engineering focused; however, discussion on current issues and events are also appropriate. What is the RMEL Spring Management, Engineering and Operations Conference?
The Spring Management, Engineering and Operations Conference has been a tradition since RMEL's early beginnings. Known for providing outstanding continuing education and networking opportunities, this conference is a must attend event for engineering, operations and management personnel in the electric energy industry. With 30 presentations, this conference covers issues in generation, transmission, distribution, safety, customer service, human resources and other management topics. Additional Conference Functions
The 2011 Spring Management, Engineering and Operations Conference will feature a variety of networking and entertaining functions including a guest activity, golf outing, exhibitor sessions and RMEL Champions Receptions.
Guest Program
The Spring Management, Engineering and Operations Conference is open to everyone! Special guest and spouse rates are available for the full Conference or individual days. A guest or spouse registration allows participation in meals, breaks and receptions as well as education sessions. Guests may register for the full Conference, which includes the Sunday and Monday night receptions and daytime meals for all three days. Individual day pricing is also available.

Golf Outing
The Foundation Golf Outing will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011. To be eligible for the Golf Outing you must be registered for the Full Conference or for Sunday only. When registering, include the names of the players with whom you would like to be paired. Registration for either the full Conference or Sunday only is required to participate in the golf outing.
Exhibitor Information
20 exhibit spaces are available for purchase to RMEL members only. Spaces are provided on a first come, first served basis. The exhibitor registration form and more information will be available in 2011.
