What’s the best way to make sure RMEL e-mails get to me?
Filter settings can and should be modified on your own computer. Settings on your e-mail provider’s server should be made if necessary. See below for directions on making these changes.
1) YOUR OWN COMPUTER
In addition we recommend adding the RMEL.org domain to your safe sender’s list on your own computer. Here are the instructions to modify filter settings on your own computer (for outlook, hotmail, and yahoo! users)
2) YOUR E-MAIL PROVIDER:
If necessary, request your e-mail provider allow permission for all mail from the RMEL.org domain and from IP address 69.15.139.10 be approved.
How to change your email settings
Help ensure you are receiving RMEL e-mails by following these simple steps.
Outlook 2003 Users:
1. Select Actions from the top menu bar, then select Junk E-mail followed by Junk E-mail Options.
2. Select Safe Senders, then Add.
3. Type RMEL.org and click OK.
4. Type and click OK.
5. Click OK.
AOL Users:
First, check your spam folder just in case any RMEL email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the message and click This is Not Spam, which will allow future messages to get through.
We strongly recommend that you do the following to avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:
1. Click Mail in the toolbar at the top of your AOL window
2. Select Block Unwanted Mail
3. Click Custom Sender List
4. Select Allow only the senders and domains listed below
5. Enter this domain: RMEL.org
6. Click Save
Hotmail Users:
First, check your Junk E-mail folder just in case any RMEL email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the message and click Not Junk, which will allow future messages to get through.
We strongly recommend that you do the following to avoid accidentally filtering our future messages:
1. Click Mail, then Options (next to the Help link)
2. Click Junk E-Mail Protection
3. Click Safe List
4. Enter this domain: RMEL.org
5. Click Add
Yahoo Users:
Check your Bulk Mail folder just in case the email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the message and click Not Spam, which will allow future messages to get through. |
