RMEL provides education workshops, conferences, and roundtables in many areas of interest to electric energy companies. These areas include: generation, transmission, substation, distribution, power quality, materials management, safety, customer service, senior management, and management.
Video-on-Demand
Part of RMEL's initiative to provide "in-your-backyard" education, RMEL offers videos that you can watch at the comfort of your own computer. Reduce travel and lodging expenses by watching video of RMEL presentations at your desk, via the internet.
Fall Convention
Our premier membership get-together targeted at senior management. Upper management from all over the world share their experiences in their industries. Look to the past for answers, look to the future for expanding business opportunities. A golf outing, and silent auction to benefit the Foundation scholarship program provide fun interaction. Held annually in September.
Spring Electric Energy Conference
The best value conference for operations and business development personnel. Targeted at technical, operations and management personnel with a variety of training and how-to oriented breakout sessions. Not only an overview of the latest general trends in the industry but plenty of sessions in specific interest areas. Exhibits, spouse/guest program and entertainment offer both learning and networking opportunities.
Continuing Education Certificates

RMEL Champions Program
The RMEL Champions Program is a promotional program for member companies. There are four promotional levels to choose from. Each level provides different marketing opportunities. Get your name, company and products in front of more than 100 RMEL Utility members including investor owned, public power districts, rural cooperatives, and generation & transmission companies. All this and help support various RMEL activities at the same time. Program registration available from November to February.
Credit Card Processing Plan
Offer your customers the option to pay their power bill and other related services with their credit card. Latest Product Information
The interplay between vendors and energy companies transmits knowledge as quickly as it develops, keeping you ahead of the curve. At many conferences vendors provide product information updates.
Scholarships
The RMEL Foundation has been formed exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes of awarding scholarships to deserving and qualified students in engineering or other curriculum related to the electric energy industry. Contributions are tax-deductible under the IRS 501(c) 3 tax code. Help improve the qualified personnel pool by awarding scholarships to students.
Golf Tournament
Held annually in July in the Denver metro area this tournament attracts a capacity crowd each year and sells out registrations early. A great time for fun and business networking. There is also a golf outing during the Fall Convention in September and the Spring Conference in May.
